Why this happens

Both medicines work by widening your blood vessels to lower blood pressure or improve blood flow. When used together, their effects add up, which can lead to an excessively low blood pressure (hypotension).

Use caution when combining these medicines. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, sit or lie down until the feeling passes. To prevent falls, get up slowly from a sitting or lying position. If you experience chest pain, severe dizziness, or fainting, contact your doctor immediately. Always inform your doctor if you are taking both, as they may need to monitor your blood pressure more closely.
