Can I take 90 and Nicotinamide riboside together?

Drug interaction guide

There are no known documented interactions between alcohol (90% proof or otherwise) and nicotinamide riboside (NR). Why this happens

Alcohol metabolism consumes NAD+ in the liver. Nicotinamide riboside is a precursor used by the body to create more NAD+. While they do not directly interfere with each other's absorption, alcohol works against the biological purpose of the supplement.

It is best to avoid or strictly limit alcohol when taking nicotinamide riboside. If you choose to drink, do so in moderation and be aware that alcohol may counteract the potential benefits of the supplement.
