Can I take Telxtra and Tenrid at together?

Why this happens

Both medicines work to lower blood pressure but in different ways. Telxtra (telmisartan) relaxes blood vessels, while Tenrid AT (atenolol) slows the heart rate. When used together, their effects add up, which can sometimes lower blood pressure or heart rate more than intended.

You should only take these two medicines together if they have been specifically prescribed by your doctor.
