How does fexofenadine work?
Retour au sommaireFexofenadine works by blocking the effects of histamine, a chemical released by the body during an allergic reaction.
When allergens such as pollen trigger the release of histamine, it can cause symptoms including sneezing, a runny or blocked nose, and red, itchy or watery eyes.
By preventing histamine from acting, fexofenadine helps relieve these allergy symptoms. It can also help reduce itching and skin rashes associated with hives.
