These aromatic lavender marcona almonds offer a sophisticated twist on a classic Mediterranean snack. By gently toasting the prized Spanish almonds and tossing them with floral lavender and a hint of sugar, you create a complex flavour profile that balances savoury, sweet, and herbaceous notes. The scent of the dried lavender develops beautifully against the buttery crunch of the nuts, making them an elegant addition to any drinks party or a thoughtful homemade gift.
As a heart-healthy option, this recipe relies on nutrient-dense nuts and high-quality olive oil rather than processed fats. These almonds are naturally packed with antioxidants and healthy monounsaturated fats, providing a satisfying crunch that feels indulgent while remaining nutritious. Serve them alongside a crisp glass of white wine or as part of a seasonal grazing board for a simple yet refined appetiser.
