These vegan banana and oat chocolate chip biscuits are a fantastic way to use up overripe fruit while creating a wholesome, plant-based treat. The combination of mashed bananas and chopped dates provides a natural sweetness that pairs beautifully with the warmth of ground cinnamon. Because they rely on simple larder staples, these biscuits are as convenient as they are delicious, offering a chewy texture that feels indulgent yet light.
This versatile bake is perfect for healthy snacking, lunchboxes, or even a quick on-the-go breakfast. The recipe is incredibly adaptable, allowing you to swap the chocolate chips for toasted walnuts or juicy raisins depending on your preference. High in fibre and free from refined sugars, these biscuits are a nourishing choice for families looking for a satisfying homemade alternative to shop-bought confectionery.
