Pear-Cranberry Cobblers

This seasonal pear and cranberry cobbler is a delightful vegetarian dessert that balances tart fruit with a wholesome, spiced topping. The combination of juicy pears and vibrant cranberries creates a beautiful contrast of flavours, while a hint of ground ginger adds a gentle warmth that is perfect for cooler evenings. Using steel-cut oats in the batter provides a satisfying, rustic texture that feels traditional and homemade.

Designed as individual puddings, these cobblers are ideal for effortless entertaining or a nutritious mid-week treat. The use of whole-wheat flour and low-fat vanilla yogurt keeps the dish lighter than a conventional crumble, making it a brilliant choice for those seeking a healthier sweet fix. Serve these puddings warm from the oven for the most comforting experience.
