Dr Hayley Willacy was an NHS GP working in northwest England, who retired from clinical practice in 2022 after 30 years. 

She still authors material for NICE Clinical Knowledge Summaries (CKS). Additionally, she is an academic adviser for medical undergraduates at Lancaster Medical School.

She gained her medical degree at the University of Bristol and has worked in many areas of England over the last few years. Hayley specialises in women’s health, mental health, child health, and neurology.
