Val a participé au Great British Bake Off en 2016 et a rapidement conquis le cœur de la nation avec ses pâtisseries maison.
Originally from Conisbrough, near Doncaster, she now lives with her husband Ian in Somerton, Somerset. At 15 she took over the family baking and has been staying at the helm of the kitchen for over 50 years.
In her spare time Val loves to exercise and has even been caught doing aerobics in her kitchen whilst waiting for jam to boil or bread to prove.
