Global House Salad

This elegant global house salad is a masterclass in balancing complex flavours and contrasting textures. This vibrant vegetarian dish combines the crisp bitterness of mixed baby lettuce with the creamy, savoury notes of blue cheese and the natural sweetness of ripe Anjou pears. The homemade balsamic dressing, spiked with a hint of sriracha and garlic, provides a sophisticated zing that perfectly cuts through the richness of the cheese.

Perfect as a light lunch or a refined starter for a dinner party, this healthy salad is remarkably quick to assemble. The standout feature is the shop-bought walnuts, which are transformed into crunchy, golden clusters with a quick honey glaze in the oven. Serve this colourful bowl immediately to enjoy the delightful crunch of the toasted nuts against the fresh, chilled salad leaves.
