There are no known harmful interactions between cordyceps and white button mushrooms. Both are edible fungi and are generally safe to consume together as part of a normal diet or as supplements.
Why this happens
Cordyceps and white button mushrooms do not share metabolic pathways that would cause one to interfere with the other. They do not significantly alter the absorption or excretion of each other's compounds.
What you should do
You can safely consume both cordyceps and white button mushrooms together. As with any supplement, if you have a mushroom allergy or experience digestive upset, you should stop use and consult a healthcare professional.
Important precautions
Auto-immune conditions (e.g., multiple sclerosis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis)
Cordyceps may increase immune system activity, which can worsen the symptoms of auto-immune diseases.
Bleeding disorders or upcoming surgery
Cordyceps may slow blood clotting. Using it might increase the risk of bleeding or interfere with blood loss control during surgical procedures.
Food and drink warnings
Alcohol
It is best to avoid or strictly limit alcohol when taking Cordyceps. While there is limited clinical data, both alcohol and certain supplements can put strain on the liver; combining them may increase the risk of liver irritation or damage.
Caffeine (Coffee, Tea, Energy Drinks)
Cordyceps may have mild stimulant properties. Consuming caffeine alongside this supplement may increase feelings of jitteriness, rapid heartbeat, or difficulty sleeping.

Can I take Maitake and Turkey tail together?
There are no known harmful interactions between maitake and turkey tail mushrooms. Both are medicinal fungi that are often taken together to support the immune system. However, because both can stimulate the immune system, there is a theoretical possibility of an additive effect.
