This vibrant vegan black bean dip is a fantastic addition to any sharing platter, offering a smoky, savoury flavour profile with a subtle hint of citrus. By combining protein-rich black beans with the deep notes of balsamic vinegar and earthy cumin, you create a satisfyingly smooth texture that works beautifully as a healthy snack or a party starter. It is a brilliant alternative to traditional shop-bought dips, providing a boost of fibre and plant-based nutrition in every bite.
Ideal for busy weeknights or last-minute entertaining, this simple recipe takes mere minutes to prepare. The addition of fresh coriander and a garnish of sharp red onion lifts the richness of the beans, making it incredibly moreish. Serve it alongside crunchy tortilla chips or a colourful array of raw vegetable batons, such as carrots and peppers, for a light yet filling appetiser that everyone can enjoy.
