Why this happens
Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb that primarily affects the body's stress response (cortisol levels), while glucosamine is an amino sugar used by the body to build cartilage. They are processed by different pathways in the body and do not interfere with how the other is absorbed, broken down, or used.
What you should do
You can safely take these two supplements together. However, as with any supplement, you should monitor for any unusual side effects. If you have diabetes, be aware that glucosamine can occasionally affect blood sugar levels, and ashwagandha may lower blood sugar; monitor your levels closely if you have this condition.
