This elegant dish of steamed clams with wine and chorizo is a fantastic choice for a light yet deeply flavourful supper. By combining fresh shellfish with the smoky heat of Spanish sausage and a hint of cumin, you create a sophisticated broth that is naturally low in carbohydrates. It is a brilliant example of a diabetes-friendly meal that does not compromise on taste or texture, making it perfect for both weeknight dining and special occasions.
Clams are an excellent source of lean protein and essential minerals, while the vibrant yellow peppers add a boost of vitamins and natural sweetness. This seafood dish is incredibly quick to prepare, taking less than twenty minutes from pan to table. Serve it in large warmed bowls to capture every drop of the aromatic wine and herb-infused juices.
