Chick-Pea Cumin Dip

This aromatic cumin and chickpea dip is a sophisticated twist on traditional hummus. By blending chickpeas with soft tofu, you achieve an exceptionally light and silky texture that is naturally high in plant-based protein. The toasted cumin seeds provide a warm, earthy depth that pairs beautifully with the bright acidity of the fresh lemon juice and the herbaceous notes of flat-leaf parsley.

As a versatile vegan appetiser, this dip is an excellent addition to a Mediterranean-style grazing board or as a nutritious afternoon snack. It is remarkably quick to prepare, making it a reliable choice for last-minute entertaining. Serve it chilled or at room temperature alongside warm toasted pita bread, crunchy cucumber sticks, or colourful radishes for a healthy, savoury treat.
