There is no direct harmful interaction between atorvastatin and ramipril. In fact, these two medicines are very commonly prescribed together to help protect the heart and blood vessels. However, both can occasionally affect your kidney function or potassium levels, so your doctor will monitor you as a precaution.

Atorvastatin (a statin) and ramipril (an ACE inhibitor) work through different pathways in the body and do not interfere with how the other is absorbed or broken down. While they don't interact directly, both drugs can have minor effects on the kidneys, which is why routine monitoring is standard practice.
What you should do
