Ingredients for Agua de limón con chía (limeade with chia seeds)
3 large limes, quartered
960 ml water
100 g sugar, or more if needed
40 g chia seeds
How to make Agua de limón con chía (limeade with chia seeds)
Place the limes, water, and sugar in a blender. Pulse 3 to 4 times, just enough to extract the juice from the limes without crushing the skins, as this could make the drink too bitter.
Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher. Taste and add more sugar if desired.
Whisk in the chia seeds and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until completely chilled.
Stir the mixture before serving and serve over ice.
