Creamy Coriander-Lime Slaw

This creamy coriander and lime slaw is a vibrant, zesty upgrade to the classic cabbage salad. By combining the cooling properties of soured cream with the sharp hit of fresh lime and a subtle heat from serrano chillies, it creates a profile that is both refreshing and complex. The addition of fresh coriander provides an aromatic lift, making it a perfect accompaniment to smoky grilled meats, spicy tacos, or as a crunchy element in a summer sandwich.

As a versatile vegetarian side dish, this slaw is excellent for entertaining because the flavours develop beautifully when prepared in advance. Chilling the salad for at least an hour allows the cabbage to soften slightly while soaking up the citrus dressing. Whether you are hosting a garden gathering or looking for a healthy, homemade addition to your weekday lunch, this crisp salad offers a bright and savoury crunch.
