There is no harmful interaction between these two medications. In fact, they are frequently prescribed together to provide better pain relief than either drug could achieve on its own. However, you must be extremely careful to check the ingredients of your 'Oxypro' (Oxycodone) tablets, as some brands of oxycodone come already mixed with paracetamol in a single pill.

Why this happens
Oxypro (oxycodone) is an opioid painkiller that works on the central nervous system, while paracetamol works differently to reduce pain signals and fever. Because they work through different pathways, they can be used at the same time (additive effect) to manage more severe pain.
What you should do
It is safe to take these together as long as you do not exceed the maximum daily dose of paracetamol (usually 4000mg or eight 500mg tablets in 24 hours). Always check your Oxypro packaging; if it is a combination product that already contains paracetamol, do not take extra paracetamol. If you have liver or kidney problems, consult your doctor before combining these medicines.

Can I take Esomeprazole and Trazodone together?
Esomeprazole may reduce the amount of trazodone that your body absorbs. This could potentially make trazodone less effective at treating your symptoms (such as depression or sleep issues). Additionally, both medications can rarely affect the electrical activity of your heart, though this risk is generally low.
